Craftsmanship: How We Make Our Bespoke Fine Jewellery

From a first sketch to the final polish, every piece is shaped by hand in our workshop.

Handcrafted in-house

Creating a piece of bespoke fine jewellery is a journey — one that begins with a conversation and ends with an heirloom made to be worn for a lifetime and passed on for many more.

Each ring, pendant and pair of earrings passes through the hands of designers, goldsmiths and stone-setters, blending time-honoured techniques with modern precision. Below, we walk you through exactly how it is made.

The Process

Every Step, Made by Hand

The Design Consultation
Step One

The Design Consultation

Every bespoke piece begins with you. We sit down to understand the story behind the jewellery — the occasion, the person, the feeling it should capture.

Our designers sketch initial concepts by hand, refining shape, proportion and character until the design feels exactly right before a single tool is picked up.

CAD & 3D Modelling
Step Two

CAD & 3D Modelling

The chosen sketch is translated into a precise three-dimensional model using computer-aided design. This lets us perfect every millimetre — the height of a setting, the sweep of a shoulder, the exact seat for each stone.

You see a photo-realistic preview of the finished piece and can approve every detail before we begin making it.

Casting in Precious Metal
Step Three

Casting in Precious Metal

From the approved model we create a wax pattern, which is then cast in your chosen precious metal — 18ct gold, platinum or palladium — using the centuries-old lost-wax technique.

The raw casting emerges, and the real handwork begins: filing, shaping and refining the metal until the form is clean and true.

Setting the Stones
Step Four

Setting the Stones

Our master stone-setter secures each diamond and gemstone by hand, cutting precise seats in the metal so every stone sits perfectly and catches the light from every angle.

It is painstaking, millimetre-precise work — the difference between a good piece and an extraordinary one.

Polishing & Hallmarking
The Finish

Polishing & Hallmarking

Finally the piece is polished to a flawless lustre, hand-finished and independently hallmarked as a guarantee of its precious-metal purity.

After a last quality inspection, your bespoke piece is ready — made entirely for you, and made to last.
